AI-driven satellite monitoring is powerful, but some images need a human touch. On-site, I photographed pipelines weaving through landscapes, towering construction sites, and the intricate mechanics of energy infrastructure, ensuring Orbital Eye’s visuals weren’t just data—but real, impactful storytelling. In a Rotterdam-based collaboration, I worked with Orbital Eye, a leader in AI-driven satellite monitoring, to capture the human perspective their technology couldn’t generate. On-site, I photographed energy sites, pipelines, construction zones, and specialized machinery, ensuring their clients saw the full reality of their industry beyond automated data. Each image highlighted scale, atmosphere, and intricate details, making their monitoring solutions feel tangible and essential. This project reinforced a key truth: even in a world of automation, human creativity remains irreplaceable.
